I'm Tesa Arcilla, a former foreign correspondent, political debate host, and global TV anchor for some of the world's biggest networks. For over 20 years, I worked inside newsrooms where the pressure was relentless and the deadlines unforgiving. I've moderated high-stakes debates, interviewed world leaders, and witnessed firsthand how critical (and how difficult) it is to source experts who are both credible and clear.
Too often, the people who had the most valuable insights weren't the ones who made it on air. Not because they weren't qualified, but because they weren't visible or accessible. They didn't have a PR machine. They weren't media-trained. They were hiding in plain sight.
“What if the problem isn't the quality of expertise, but the system we use to surface it?”
That question became the seed of VerifVoices.
